Angelina Lopresti

Angelina Lopresti is a 20-year-old who was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario. She is currently enrolled in her third year of Nursing (BScN) at the University of Windsor. After she receives her Bachelor’s degree, she aspires to complete her NCLEX exam to officially become a registered nurse. Angelina aspires to become either a labour and delivery nurse or one that specializes in wound care to gain further experience and develop upon her competence of care as a nurse.Within her busy schedule, Angelina likes to set aside time for one of her greatest passions, which is visual arts. Art has taught her patience and has been a great source of relaxation to destress from the busy world. With this talent, Angelina can create and reflect ideas into a visual representation. These representations can reflect emotions, thoughts, and perspectives.

Through volunteer experience, Angelina has shown her passion by giving back to the community and advocating for the younger generation. This has been seen when volunteering at the local Lady of Atonement Parish, Triathalon for Hospice, and even being a youth group leader. If chosen as Miss Tecumseh, Angelina would like to partner with United Way of Windsor Essex to help create opportunities for children and families locally and to show them that a path to success can be obtained.

“Values are like fingerprints. Nobody’s are the same, but you leave ‘em all over everything you do”, a wonderful quote by Elvis Presley that Angelina lives by and incorporates into her daily life. Without the support from family and friends, Angelina feels that she wouldn’t have had the courage to take a step out of her comfort zone to obtain amazing new experiences. The values they have shared with her, has added to her character, and allowed her to develop from them. She is grateful to have been formed into the person she is and to be a part/a contestant of the Miss Tecumseh Pageant this year.
