Savannah Cipkar
Savannah Cipkar, a personable and hardworking 20-year-old. She has a diploma from Fanshawe College for Event Planning and Marketing and is going back to school in September to pursue a career in hair dressing at St. Clair College. She has always loved playing dress up, and doing hair and makeup on herself as well as friends and family. With her degree in Event Planning and Marketing and soon to be registered hair stylist, her plan is to open her dream salon and market her business by herself. Growing up being surrounded by dance and pageants she learned how to get glam at a young age and has such a strong passion for this form of art. Prior to pursuing her career as a hair stylist, Savannah was a competitive dancer for 6 years at Cathy’s Dance Studio. She competed at many dance competitions around Ontario with dance styles including; tap, jazz, ballet, hip-hop, contemporary and lyrical. Dance was a huge part of her life where she met life long friends and family for life.
In 2022, Savannah competed in the Regional Ontario Pageant to try and earn a spot to compete for Miss Teenage Canada. She placed in the top 3 in regionals and went to compete for the Title of Miss Teenage Canada later that summer. She placed T op 20 in the final competition which was super rewarding for her. But overall, she met the most amazing, kind, brilliant and talented women who became an important part of her life and made her understand what true friendship really is and where her love for pageants really started. Savannah volunteers in her community frequently for the past 3 years, whether that be; clothing drives, can drives, fundraisers or races. Some events she has volunteered at were; The McGregor Clothing Swap (2022), 50/50 draw at Colchester Bar and Grill for Make-A-Wish Canada (2022), First Responders Run (2025), and her family’s yearly Car Show fundraising for Make-A-Wish Canada (2022, 2023, & 2024), and so many more. She thinks a good community is very important and is always shopping local and supporting small busnesses.
In addition to volunteering and fundraising she is very passionate about overcoming eating disorders which is her platform in pageantry. If she were to win the title of Miss Tecumseh she wants to use this title to go to schools within the community to talk about eating disorders and how important it is to fuel your body as well as how to get help locally. She also plans on fundraising for BANA which is where she received her help while recovering.Savannah is always one to help others and encourage others to be the best version of themselves. A quote she lives by is; “Treat yourself as you could be, and you will become what you should be” (Ralph W Aldo Emerson). Because she believes you are capable of anything and everything as long as you are putting your best foot forward and being your true authentic self.
