Ashley Dunn is 19 years old and raised in Windsor Essex County, primarily in Kingsville. Currently, she is a dedicated student at St Clair College and studying Business Administration Marketing. Ashley aspires to eventually open a chain of cafes that have unique elements such as used books for sale and monthly days dedicated to helping out local charities through fundraisers and more.

Ashley has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to community involvement. Her volunteer efforts have spanned diverse organizations, including Discovery Childcare, the Canadian Cancer Society, the Bridge, United Way, and the Windsor Humane Society. Through these experiences, she has emerged as an active and passionate member of the community.

As a candidate for Miss Tecumseh 2024, Ashley was given the opportunity to have a charity of choice and has chosen The United Way. This decision is deeply rooted in her personal connection with the organization. The United Way has played a crucial role in Ashley’s life, providing her with opportunities that she never thought possible and providing her with inspirational role models. Her commitment to this cause is not only a reflection of her gratitude but also a sincere desire to give others the opportunities that she has received.

Raised by her grandparents due to her parents’ individual struggles, financial constraints became an additional hurdle. Despite these difficulties, Ashley has consistently strived to excel academically, participate in extracurricular activities, and maintain a positive outlook on life.
