Laila Qare
Laila Qare is a 19 year old who was born and raised in Windsor Ontario. She is studying Criminology at the University of Windsor. Once Laila receives her criminology degree she wishes to further her education to law school. Laila aims to become a family lawyer here in Windsor Ontario.Laila grew up in a big family with lots of siblings and relatives. Living in such an environment allowed for Laila to grow with so much love that she always felt the need to spread it. Ways in which she spreads her love is by being involved in the community. Laila has been involved in activities such as team captain of dragon boats team, a volunteer at church festivals, a member of St. Charbel youth group, and so much more. Volunteering is something that Laila enjoys because it allows for her to give back and allows for her to connect individuals of the community with and to each other.
One of Laila’s close family members suffers from MS also known as Multiple Sclerosis. MS is a condition that affects the brain and spine. Growing up with a family member who suffers from MS is not an easy thing and so she is passionate about connecting with others around the community who suffer directly from the disease or who know a loved one who is affected. The MS Society of Canada is the charity of choice to which Laila would like to donate all profits too. This charity funds for the research of MS. To be able to do a small amount of help towards the MS community is something that Laila is honoured and eager to do.
Laila is beyond grateful for the opportunity and platform she is given in the Miss. Tecumseh pageant. She is proud to stand as a representative for her entire community as well as those who suffer or are affected by MS.
