Kaitlyn Baggio

Kaitlyn Baggio was born and raised in Tecumseh, Ontario. She is 23-years-old and a college graduate from the Border Services program at St. Clair College and currently works with the Windsor Essex County District School Board at the Newcomer Welcome Centre. When she was 15 she found a passion for community involvement through volunteering with charity organizations and has turned that passion into her aspiration of becoming a police officer that specializes in Mental Health.

Kaitlyn believes the saying “Your success is determined by your confidence and fortitude”. After overcoming anxiety and depression in her childhood, Kaitlyn uses her past experiences to advocate for Mental Health Awareness and she is currently a volunteer with the Canadian Mental Health Association. She believes that the stigma around having mental health struggles should not define you as an individual and that you can accomplish anything that you put your mind to, if you work hard towards your goals and follow your dreams. If chosen as Miss Tecumseh, Kaitlyn would use the platform to continue raising awareness for mental health and host multiple fundraisers throughout the year to fundraise and support mental health services in Windsor-Essex County.

Kaitlyn is thankful for her friends, family and the community for supporting her throughout her journey in pageantry. She is determined to make a difference within the community and is looking forward to having the chance to represent the Town of Tecumseh as Miss Tecumseh 2022.
